Please take a moment to review these important care recommendations to help you get the most from today's session.

Post Session Care Tips

Following these recommendations will help optimize your recovery and maximize the benefits of your session.

Stay Hydrated

We mobilized tissue that may have been tight and holding onto metabolic toxins and cellular waste. The body uses a balance of water and electrolytes to naturally detox and flush. One of these bodily mechanisms is the lymphatic system. Staying hydrated helps this process be efficient.

Consider Additional Protein

Protein or amino acids are the basic building blocks of our body, including the tissues. Because we mobilized your body's tissues, some tissues may be repairing and remodeling, which allows for repatterning. During this process, some people may experience DOMS (delayed onset of muscle soreness). If you tend to experience DOMS post-workout or massage, additional protein or amino acids may help facilitate the recovery process and minimize DOMS.

Prioritize Quality Sleep

Sleep is when your body does most of its repair and recovery work. After your session, your tissues are in an active healing phase, making quality sleep even more important. Aim for 7-9 hours of uninterrupted sleep to allow your body to fully process the work we did today. Consider creating a relaxing bedtime routine, keeping your room cool and dark, and avoiding screens for at least an hour before bed to optimize your recovery.
